The Valley View Blazers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Brookland Bearcats to 0 in the Blazers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blazers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Batesville for a 5A East outing on Thursday, August 28. Valley View will play a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Cabot (Cabot, AR). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-1.
