Divine Child Falcons (Dearborn, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Central Catholic Fighting Irish (Toledo, OH), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cabrini (Allen Park, MI). The Monarchs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Cabrini lost by Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Irish play the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets (Orchard Lake, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Eaglets come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Branch (North Branch, MI).
