Hudson Hornets (Lufkin, TX) boosters were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs (Corrigan, TX), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Colmesneil was beaten by Good Samaritan HomeSchool (Fred, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Normangee Panthers (Normangee, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Corrigan-Camden will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Somerville (Somerville, TX).
