Indiana High School Volleyball - Covington over West Vigo

The Covington Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host West Vigo Vikings to 0 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southmont for a non-league game on Thursday, August 28. Covington will confront a Mounties squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Greencastle (Greencastle, IN). The Mounties record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, West Vigo drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host South Putnam (Greencastle, IN) to play the Eagles in a Western Indiana outing on Wednesday, August 27. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 2-0. South Putnam won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Clay City (Clay City, IN)
