Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Lockhart Lions (Lockhart, TX) and the visiting Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX), observed Lockhart's volleyball team top Ellison by a tally of 3-1.

The Lions (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Tigers/Jaguars enter the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Floresville was defeated by Madison (San Antonio, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 1-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maypearl for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28.
