Farina South Central Cougars (Farina, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Ramsey Rams (Ramsey, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Farina South Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to St. Anthony (Effingham, IL) to meet the Bulldogs in a National Trail challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Rams play the Mulberry Grove Aces (Mulberry Grove, IL) in a Egyptian Illini challenge, on Friday, August 29. Ramsey will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Aces come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Vandalia (Vandalia, IL).
