In Tuesday's non-league match, the J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC) volleyball squad tipped the host Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC), by a margin of 2-1.
The Patriots now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Easley for a AAAAA Region 1 bout on Thursday, August 28. J.L. Mann will battle a Green Wave squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Green Wave record now stands at 7-4.
The Fury (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Woodruff (Woodruff, SC). The Wolverines enter the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Woodruff held off Greenwood Christian (Greenwood, SC), 2-1, in a non-league match.
