The Hibbing Bluejackets volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Mesabi East Giants to 2 in the Bluejackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bluejackets now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Proctor for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Hibbing will play a Rails team coming off a 3-0 league win over Marshall (Duluth, MN). The Rails record now stands at 3-3.

The Giants (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Cherry (Iron, MN). The Tigers go into the Arrowhead game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Cherry nudged Cook County (Grand Marais, MN), 3-1, in a non-league game.
