The Osborne Cardinals volleyball squad (Marietta, GA), dropped 2-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA)

With the win, Hillgrove improves its record to 8-9 on the season. The Hawks travel to South Cobb (Austell, GA) to encounter the Eagles in a 6A Area 3 battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 3-4. South Cobb lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA)

Next, the Cardinals meet the Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA) in a 6A Area 3 contest, on Tuesday, August 26. Osborne will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 5-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Unity Christian (Rome, GA).
