Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northumberland upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Indians host Mathews (Mathews, VA) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Royal Tigers meet the Essex Trojans (Tappahannock, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 2. King & Queen Central will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Surry County (Dendron, VA).
