Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX) and the visiting Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX), observed Liberty's volleyball team top Nimitz by a count of 3-0.

The Panthers (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Texas City (Texas City, TX). The Stingarees go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Texas City achieved victory over South Houston (South Houston, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
