With the win, Mt. Shasta advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bears host Herlong (Herlong, CA) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 0-2. Herlong lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Arcata (Arcata, CA)

The Panthers now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Durham for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 27. Maxwell will play a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Las Plumas (Oroville, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.
