Florida High School Volleyball - Pineapple Cove Classical Academy crushed by Merritt Island Christian

The Merritt Island Christian Cougars prevailed the host Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Patriots volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Coming up next, the Cougars clash with the Brevard HEAT Firehawks (Palm Bay, FL) in a 1A District 8 bout, on Thursday, August 28. Merritt Island Christian will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Firehawks come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Calvary Chapel Academy (West Melbourne, FL).

With the loss, Pineapple Cove Classical Academy drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to St. Edward's (Vero Beach, FL) to confront the Pirates in a non-league match on Thursday, August 28. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 5-2. St. Edward's won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Okeechobee (Okeechobee, FL)
