St. Croix Prep Lions (Stillwater, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mounds Park Academy Panthers (St. Paul, MN), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Blake (Minneapolis, MN). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Blake was beaten by Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Providence Academy Lions (Plymouth, MN) in a Independent Metro Athletic challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Mounds Park Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Mayer Lutheran (Mayer, MN).
