Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Pettus Eagles (Pettus, TX), 3-1 in a non-league outing.

The Aggies now have a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Tuloso-Midway for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Poteet will play a Warriors & Cherokees team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX). The Warriors & Cherokees record now stands at 13-6.

The Eagles (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Falls City (Falls City, TX). The Beavers go into the non-league game with a 8-8 record. In their last game, Falls City went down by South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
