The San Gabriel Mission Pioneers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Southwestern Academy Sun to 0 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy for a Santa Fe outing on Thursday, August 28. San Gabriel Mission will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Southwestern Academy drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Sun host International School of Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
