In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars.

The Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Visitation (Mendota Heights, MN). The Blazers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Visitation went down by Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Island for a Hiawatha Valley test on Tuesday, August 26. Zumbrota-Mazeppa will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
