    The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) and the visiting Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE), observed Platteview's football squad thwart Falls City by a tally of 35-14.

    The Trojans now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Boys Town for a non-league contest on Friday, September 3. Platteview will play a Cowboys squad coming off a 37-6 non-league loss to Lakeview (Columbus, NE). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-1.

    Coming up next, the Tigers play the Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 3. Falls City will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
