    • Georgia High School Football - Model gets by LaFayette

    August 27, 2021: Rome, GA 30161

    The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) and the visiting LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA), observed Model's football squad edge LaFayette by a tally of 10-6.

    The Blue Devils now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Trion for a A Public Region 6 contest on Friday, September 3. Model will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 48-13 league win over Coosa (Rome, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

    Coming up next, the Ramblers play the Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 3. LaFayette will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 21-0 league win over Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA).
