Pennsylvania High School Football - Purchase Line nips Northern Cambria

In Friday's league match, the host Purchase Line Red Dragons football squad scored a close 20-14 victory over the Northern Cambria Colts.

In their next game, the Red Dragons clash with the United Lions (Armagh, PA) in a Heritage match, on Friday, September 3. Purchase Line will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 49-8 league loss to Blairsville (Blairsville, PA).

The Colts (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Homer-Center (Homer City, PA). The Wildcats enter the Heritage match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Homer-Center was nudged by Cambria Heights (Patton, PA), 23-14, in a league match.
