The Ridge Point Panthers football squad scored 41 points and limited the host Pearland Oilers to 13 in the Panthers non-league win on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Dickinson for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 2. Ridge Point will play a Gators squad coming off a 45-42 non-league win over Manvel (Manvel, TX). The Gators record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Oilers play the Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 3. Pearland will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 12-10 non-league loss to Seven Lakes (Katy, TX).
