Ohio High School Football - Lucas nips Hillsdale

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lucas Cubs football squad scored a close 14-13 victory over the Hillsdale Falcons.

In their next game, the Cubs clash with the Wynford Royals (Bucyrus, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Lucas will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Royals enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Pleasant (Marion, OH).

The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Loudonville (Loudonville, OH). The Redbirds enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Loudonville held off Utica (Utica, OH), 19-13, in a non-league match.
