California High School Football - McClatchy felled by Rosemont

The McClatchy Lions football team (Sacramento, CA), was beaten 40-20 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Rosemont Wolverine (Sacramento, CA)

The Wolverine (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Natomas (Sacramento, CA). The Nighthawks come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Natomas was beaten by Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA), 49-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ripon for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 2. McClatchy will meet a Indians team coming off a 42-10 non-league loss to Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Indians record now stands at 0-2.
