The Mapleton Mounties smashed the host Hillsdale Falcons soccer squad by a margin of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Mounties now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Huron for a non-league match on Saturday, September 3.
With the loss, Hillsdale drops to 0-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH) to encounter the Golden Bears in a Wayne County match on Tuesday, August 30. The Golden Bears come into the match with a record of 1-2. Waynedale lost 7-0 in their recent league match against Chippewa (Doylestown, OH)
