In Saturday's non-league battle, the host John Glenn Little Muskies soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Jonathan Alder Pioneers.
The Little Muskies (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sheridan (Thornville, OH). The Generals go into the Muskingum Valley battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Sheridan nipped New Lexington (New Lexington, OH), 5-0, in a league battle.
The Pioneers (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Shawnee (Springfield, OH). The Braves go into the Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Shawnee was nudged by Bethel (Tipp City, OH), 9-2, in a non-league battle.
