Kentucky High School Soccer - Logan County nudges Warren Central

Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars face the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY) in a District 13 challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. Logan County will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.

The Dragons now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bowling Green for a District 14 challenge on Tuesday, August 30. Warren Central will face a Purples team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Meade County (Brandenburg, KY). The Purples record now stands at 6-1.
