The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the South Park Eagles (South Park, PA) and the visiting Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA), saw South Park's soccer squad get by Mercyhurst Prep by a margin of 1-0.
The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Shaler Area for a non-league test on Monday, August 29.
With the loss, Mercyhurst Prep drops to 1-1 on the season. The Lakers host Fairview (Fairview, PA) to encounter the Tigers in a District 10 Region 4 test on Tuesday, August 30.
