The crowd at Saturday's league test between the Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN) and the visiting Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN), saw Mt. Vernon's soccer squad triumph over Southridge by a margin of 11-1.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Boonville for a Pocket test on Tuesday, August 30. Mt. Vernon will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Southridge drops to 0-4 on the season. The Raiders travel to Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN) to encounter the Rangers in a Pocket test on Thursday, September 1. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Forest Park lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN)
