South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Black Eagles confront the Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) in a Mountain State challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. South Charleston will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV).

The Tigers now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Hill for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 30. Princeton will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Brooke (Wellsburg, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-1.
