The Westminster Wolves softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Battle Mountain Huskies to 1 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Westminster improves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Wolves host Rangeview (Aurora, CO) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 30. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Durango Demons (Durango, CO) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 2. Battle Mountain will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Demons come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO).
