The Corner Yellow Jackets held off the host Montevallo Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Yellow Jackets now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carbon Hill for a non-league test on Saturday, August 27.
The Bulldogs (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Oakman (Oakman, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Oakman was nudged by Fayette County (Fayette, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
