The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Turpin Spartans (Cincinnati, OH) and the visiting Lakota East Thunderhawks (Liberty Township, OH), saw Turpin's volleyball squad beat Lakota East by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Turpin upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year.

The Thunderhawks now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Hills for a bout on Thursday, September 1.
