Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets face the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. Highland will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 1-1 non-league Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM).
The Chargers now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rio Rancho for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 31. Albuquerque Academy will face a Rams team coming off a 1-1 non-league Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Rams record now stands at 2-1.
