The Tomcats now hold a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Boyd County for a District 63 test on Tuesday, August 30. Blazer will meet a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Lions record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Prestonsburg drops to 2-1 on the season. The Black cats host Pikeville (Pikeville, KY) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-3. Pikeville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Hazard (Hazard, KY)
