Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Porters confront the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. Lockport will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL).
The Spartans now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tinley Park for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 29. Marian Catholic will confront a Titans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Rita (Chicago, IL). The Titans record now stands at 0-2.
