Next, the Pioneers face the Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY) in a District 32 challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. Simon Kenton will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 4-4 non-league Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY).

The Bears now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodford County for a District 30 challenge on Tuesday, August 30. Spencer County will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Oldham (Crestwood, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-2.
