West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Comets face the Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. West Carter will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.

The Wolves now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Menifee County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 30. Wolfe County will face a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Paris (Paris, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.
