In Saturday's non-league contest, the Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO), by a margin of 9-2.

With the triumph, Valor Christian moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Legacy (Broomfield, CO) to play the Lightning in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 27. The Lightning come into the contest with a record of 1-2. Legacy lost 17-6 in their recent non-league contest against Windsor (Windsor, CO)

In their next game, the Wolverines play the Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 30. Chaparral will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Legend (Parker, CO).
