Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sandy Creek for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 27. Mount Paran Christian will face a Patriots squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Thomas County Central falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Tift County (Tifton, GA) to face the Blue Devils in a 6A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, September 1. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 4-5.
