Colorado High School Volleyball - Arickaree/Woodlin over Twin Peaks Charter Academy

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Arickaree/Woodlin Indians (Anton, CO) and the host Twin Peaks Charter Academy Timberwolves (Longmont, CO), saw Arickaree/Woodlin's volleyball squad beat Twin Peaks Charter Academy by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Arickaree/Woodlin upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Indians host Idalia (Idalia, CO) to play the Wolves in a 1A YWKC bout on Thursday, September 8. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 3-0.

The Timberwolves now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Nederland for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 27. Twin Peaks Charter Academy will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to STEM School Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

Match Summary

The Lady Bison came out charging the first set to roll Twin Peaks. They pushed themselves to work on quick sets and mixed up hitters in the second set which led to some aggressive mistake side-outs that let TP stay in the game a little more, but were able to finish it off to come out with a 2 set victory to start the day off.
