Kentucky High School Volleyball - Wolfe County can't hold off Ballard

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Ballard Bruins volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Wolfe County Wolves.

The Bruins (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Butler (Louisville, KY). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Butler was edged by Kentucky Country Day (Louisville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wolves encounter the Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 27. Wolfe County will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY).
