    The Dyer County Choctaws volleyball team (Newbern, TN), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Bartlett Panthers (Bartlett, TN)

    The Panthers (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN). The Saints enter the non-league challenge with a 13-1 record. In their last challenge, Briarcrest Christian defeated White Station (Memphis, TN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

    Next, the Choctaws encounter the South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN) in a AA District 14 challenge, on Monday, August 29. Dyer County will attempt to move on its 15-2 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Crockett County (Alamo, TN).
