Texas High School Volleyball - Paetow over Calallen

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Paetow Panthers (Katy, TX) and the host Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX), saw Paetow's volleyball squad beat Calallen by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Paetow upgrades its record to 19-8 on the year. The Panthers host Mayde Creek (Houston, TX) to play the Rams in a 6A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, August 30. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Mayde Creek won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 12-11 record. They play next when they host Flour Bluff for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. Calallen will play a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hebron (Carrollton, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 17-5.
