The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes held off the visiting Chester Yellowjackets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wooden Shoes now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marshall for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. Teutopolis will confront a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Chrisman (Chrisman, IL). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
The Yellowjackets (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Rams enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
