Next up, the Crusaders battle the Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 30. Christ the King will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC).

With the loss, John Paul II Catholic drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Saints host Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC) to battle the Chargers in a NCISAA Coastal Plain match on Monday, August 29. The Chargers come into the match with a record of 2-3. Wayne Country Day lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Trinity Academy (Raleigh, NC)
