The Westminster Lions topped the visiting Chula Vista Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Modena for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. Westminster will confront a Vanguards team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Canyon (Anaheim, CA). The Vanguards record now stands at 9-2.
The Spartans (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Montgomery (San Diego, CA). The Aztecs enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Montgomery was knocked off by Mission Bay (San Diego, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
