California High School Volleyball - Downey overwhelmed by Laguna Beach

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Laguna Beach Breakers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Downey Vikings.

The Breakers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Foothill (Santa Ana, CA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 30. Downey will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 8-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA).
