Illinois High School Volleyball - West Prairie can't hold off Eureka

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Eureka Hornets volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the West Prairie Cyclones.
The Hornets (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL). The Red Storm come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Monmouth United nudged ROWVA (Oneida, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Cyclones clash with the Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 27. West Prairie will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Boilermakers come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL).
