The Tigers now have a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lamar County for a non-league test on Saturday, August 27. Fayette County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.

The Bears (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Hale County (Moundville, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record.
