Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves (Fort Wayne, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Braves clash with the East Noble Knights (Kendallville, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 27. Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 3-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Garrett (Garrett, IN).

With the loss, Sturgis drops to 8-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Lakeland (LaGrange, IN) to clash with the Lakers in a non-league match on Saturday, August 27.
